This Generation was only partially released.
They come from Mexico and select South American countries.
RELEASED: May 2000
GREEN BEAN
Value:$160 ($300 NIB)
Rarity: VERY RARE
Banana Peel’s brother, the Green Bean Furby is highly sought after and easy on the eyes. It is one of the most popular Furby, but demand outweighs supply tenfold!
THIS FURBY HAS A MANE!
PUPPY DOG
Value:$100 ($200 NIB)
Rarity: VERY RARE
The SECOND brown Furby of Generation 8, the Puppy Dog is as cute as the name suggests, with adorable tan spots over its body. It is equally as common as the Labrador.
Both Puppy Dog and Labrador are the most “common” Generation 8 Furby(s), but the least popular two.
Personally, we much prefer Puppy Dog, and find it to be both very cute and underrated!
THIS FURBY HAS A MANE!
PENGUIN
Value:$160 ($300 NIB)
Rarity: VERY RARE
WOW! What a cool design, the Penguin looks like a much cooler Skunk Furby, with a bright yellow faceplate and inner ears. We feel this Furby suits silver neon eyes best.
THIS FURBY HAS A MANE!
RUSTY DOTS
Value:$180 ($300 NIB)
Rarity: VERY RARE
The second most popular Generation 8 Furby, Rusty Dots is bold and bright. With loud red fur, and electric yellow markings, this Furby is likely the most “prototype” looking of the Generation 8 line-up, and was likely testing the waters of louder and less natural designs.
THIS FURBY HAS A MANE!
BLUEBERRY
Value:$450 ($600 NIB)
Rarity: ULTRA RARE
Absolutely the most sought after Generation 8 Furby, this one will run you close to $500 used. It is the final of the Fruit Trio (Tart Tangerine and Juicy Grape), and is EXTREMELY scarce.
This is for the die-hard collector, as are most other Gen 8.
THIS FURBY HAS A TAIL!
LABRADOR
Value:$100 ($200 NIB)
Rarity: VERY RARE
It seems every Furby Generation must have a brown Furby, well Gen 8 goes whole hog with an entirely brown one!
This Furby has a soft, slightly shaggy fur texture. It is the least popular of Generation 8.
